Zoro breaks the “rock star” stereotypes. He values biblical principles for right living and proudly stands by his convictions. He is compelled to use his platform to reach everyone with the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Growing up fatherless as one of seven children, Zoro got a glimpse of life’s harsh underpinnings at an early age. Zoro was raised by an immigrant mother who faced financial, physical, and cultural hardships, yet instilled within him a deep faith in God’s ability to help people overcome circumstances and to fuel dreams. Zoro grew up to become a spiritual father to many. Young people are drawn to his engagingly winsome spirit, and his wisdom acts as a guide to many seeking direction in life.

Gifted as an encourager and life coach on the subject of excellence, Zoro is a kinetic bundle of human energy and enthusiasm. The Minister of Groove captures audiences and readers with his contagious spirit, sense of humor, and unmistakably hip style.

Zoro’s passion to serve led to him being honored at the nation’s capital as part of the White House Fatherhood Champions of Change & Convening of Engaging Men and Boys. Zoro was among a select group recognized for promoting responsible fatherhood and mentoring of boys. He is also a spokesperson for Compassion International and Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.

A husband, father, and ordained minister, Zoro established Zoro International Ministries (ZIM), a nonprofit organization that equips young adults with the essential tools needed to discover, develop, and deploy their God-given gifts in order to live a life of intention, impact, and adventure.

A powerful and purposeful communicator, Zoro connects with all generations because he’s real, relevant, and relatable. The indelible mark he makes with his words, music, and life continues to have a profound impact on those who come across his path.
